COVID-19 pandemic is the defining global health crisis of our time and the greatest challenge we have faced since World War II. This virus can spread anywhere, even places you feel safe, like your home. Healthcare workers have been true leaders in this pandemic. Working the frontline is a challenging and fearful experience.
Frontliners work tirelessly while putting their life on the line to keep us safe during this pandemic. We cannot thank them enough for all of their sacrifices and for keeping our community safe during this pandemic. Therefore, we wanted to show a little of our appreciation.
NASR driving school did a collaboration with a social media food advertiser (911FOOD) and Farhat Laval restaurant to show our appreciation to the frontlines by preparing meals to the local Laval hospital Cité de la Santé. Thank you healthcare heroes for all you do to keep our community safe and healthy.
On August 4 2020, a massive explosion in Lebanon’s Capital Beirut triggered a widespread destruction and left at least 100 dead and thousands injured. Following the bombing, Nasr Driving School organized a small charity fund to the Lebanese Red Cross Organization. We were able to donate 10% of every new registration in the following week. During that week, we received 10 new students and were able to raise 750.00 CAD.
In memory of every cancer patient, family member and friend who has lost their battle with cancer and in honor of those who continue to conquer it, we organized a pink October fundraising. Throughout the month of October, Nasr driving school donated 10% of each new registration. We were able to donate 1600.00 CAD to the Montreal Children’s Hospital at the Cancer department. These donations give great encouragement to young families in their brave battle against cancer.
